Unfortunately there is no car parking for the public onsite, although there are 4 designated parking bays for 'orange or blue badge' holders on the east side of the building (Midland Road), near Gate 5 which gives level access on to the Library's Piazza (forecourt).

There are toilets on all floors of the Library, including adapted toilets for those with disabilities.

Induction loops are fitted at all information, enquiry and sales desks. Induction loops are installed in many areas of the Conference Centre, including the Auditorium.
